How much money Sandeep Vanga saving through Tripti?

It is a common tradition in Indian cinema for Bollywood actresses to charge exorbitant remuneration and also bill the producers for their costly hotel stays. If that isn’t substantial enough, they even impose additional charges on the producer by demanding star hotels for their staff as well.

Incidentally, something detrimental in this regard has happened with the upcoming film of Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas - Spirit.

Yesterday, as we had reported the makers of this highly anticipated action film had communicated that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who was initially announced as the female, is no longer a part of this project. Sandeep Reddy later confirmed that Tripti Dimri has been signed to play the female lead role in the film. Now she is going to replace Deepika Padukone in this action entertainer.

Essentially, speaking, Deepika reportedly charged in the vicinity of ₹40 crore for the film. Now that she has been replaced by Tripti, the production cost associated with the ration might be cut down by 90%.

Reportedly Sandeep is going to save anywhere between 35 crore on this project by removing Deepika. Apart from the remuneration, he will also cut down on the exorbitant extra curricular charges that include costly hotels and staff allowances.

All the reduction in the production cost is only going to help the project further and help in fine tuning the pricing model.
