Sree Vishnu Gets Relief- But Is It Enough?

When the news promising star Sree Vishnu’s two new films hitting around the same date spread like wildfire, many got shocked. While his Mrityunjay was locked for February 26th release, his other movie, Vishnu Vinyasam locked it for 27th. However, after a lot of discussions, one of them moved a week away, and the moot question is, is this enough for the trade circles to make good profits from both?

Finally, with Vishnu Vinyasam clocking the release just a day after, Sree Vishnu’s other film “Mrityunjay” moved a week back, shifting the release date to March 6th. In fact, if we look at the advantages for both these movies, Vishnu Vinyasam is a comic caper, while Mrityunjay is a crime thriller. As both films belong to different genres, each will have its own advantage. At a time when films are making the most in just a week, surely this one-week gap is advantageous.

However, if Vishnu Vinyasam turns out to be a superhit, then Mrityunjay will find it tough. Otherwise, if Mrityunjay is terrific than the first released film, then it will crush the other movie. If both films get a blockbuster report, surely both are likely to get a good run. There’s no logic to explain as everything lies in how these films do at the box office.
