OTT Stroke: Sree Vishnu Struck In Netflix Vs Amazon

Like it has come out already, two big OTT platforms that have acquired the streaming rights of happening star Sree Vishnu’s latest films have now put the hero in a fix. After grabbing the two different movies of Sree Vishnu, Mrithyunjay and Vishnu Vinyasam, the streaming giants are now vying to compete with each other to bring their every film first.

Sree Vishnu’s Mrithyunjay is hitting cinemas on Feb 27th, which was confirmed the other day by the makers of the movie. At the trailer release event, when asked about his other film, Vishnu Vinyasam's release date, Sree Vishnu stated that producers will clarify, and he has no clarity yet over the same. The talk in industry circles is that even that film is also set for February 27th release only.

While Netflix has acquired Mrityunjay and Amazon has bagged the streaming rights of Vishnu Vinyasam, both the streaming giants are adamant on the same release date, as per what we hear. Now that Mrithyunjay’s date is announced already, will Vishnu Vinyasam makers also come forward to do the same? In case if the same date is locked, that will be a first of its kind after many years.

However, how would Sree Vishnu promote both these movies, and how is he likely to get attention for both the films, is another marketing challenge altogether.
