Did Sreeleela Make A Right Move By Not Acting In 'Tillu Sqaure'?

'Tillu Sqaure' came out last weekend and it is running successfully in theatres. The collections are fantastic and the comedy timing of Siddu is on full display. Along with that, the witty writing and Anupama's glamour worked in favour of that movie. As we all know, Sreeleela was approached for the female lead's role before Anupama was finalised.

After working for a few days, she decided to walk out of the movie. Sreeleela went on to do many more films and worked with many stars in recent times. But she couldn't find the success even with a hero like Mahesh Babu in 'Guntur Karam'. She is now busy pursuing her MBBS course and will return to films shortly.

Anupama had no hits in recent times and her career was on a downward path despite having a lot of craze among the youth. She decided to take the glamour route with 'Tillu Square' and appeared quite boldly in the movie. She did a decent job in terms of acting too. Now, people are questioning Sreeleela's decision regarding opting out of the project.

While it is a fact that Anupama was trolled a lot after the songs and trailer were released, she is getting plaudits now. Also, this role was taken up by Anupama out of desperation as no other notable projects are coming her away according to experts. 'Tillu Sqaure' has definitely has revived her career. But it is different in Sreeleela's case. Though Sreeleela mostly did commercial heroine roles that requires looking glamorous and nothing more, she never crossed the line in terms of romance or skin show.

She managed to get a girl-next-door adorable image and acting in 'Tillu Square' would have completely wiped it off. Also, Sreeleela is in the early stages of her career. She has 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' in her hands and will take up more projects in order to show her acting potential. While it is a fact that she missed out on a blockbuster film, we don't know if acting in 'Tillu Square' would help her career in any manner or not.
