Is This The Story Of Sharwa-Vaitla’s George Krish?
In fact, the film is a time-travel movie where the hero goes to a vintage period for a brief time.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 12 March 2026 7:07 PM ISTDirector Sreenu Vaitla might not have been scoring big at the box office, but he hasn’t lost that Midas touch of creating amazing comedy if the story being circulated about his new film is anything to go by. With rumours abuzz that the director’s latest movie, which has Sharwanand in the lead, is titled “George Krish”, a rumoured story of the movie is also doing the rounds.
In fact, the film is a time-travel movie where the hero goes to a vintage period for a brief time. Inside the movie, the hero is originally a Hindu boy named Krish, and falls in love with a Christian girl; He then decides to travel back in time and find out at which generation the girl’s family converted to Christianity. He will go there in the 1800s and alter the decision of the girl’s family to become Christians. And when he travels back to 2026, much to his shock, the girl remains Hindu only, but he himself is George, a Christian pastor. What happens thereafter is the rest of the story.
Usually, we see Malayalam films taking these kinds of controversial lines with a religious touch and giving it a proper commercial spin. Now that Sreenu Vaitla has taken up such a line, we have to see if he executed it quite well or not. On the other hand, some say that this story might not be the one, but the title of the film is “George Krish” only. Wait for some more time to see how the story unfolds.
