Sri Ram Shares Painful Truth in Drug Courtroom Hearing

What started out as a low-key court case has become one of the most talked-about tales in the film industry in the South. Fans were taken aback by actor Sri Ram's courtroom confession in a drug-related case. He is known for his quiet demeanor and tidy appearance. In court, Sri Ram revealed that his dr*ug use was linked to former AIADMK leader and film producer Prasad. According to him, during the shoot of Teengarai, for which he was promised ₹10 lakhs, he never received the payment. Instead, he claimed Prasad repeatedly handed him cocaine. He admitted to using the drug at a party hosted by Prasad in Nungambakkam but denied selling it. With a sick child at home, he requested bail on humanitarian grounds, which the court denied, advising him to approach the special narcotics court instead.

The case, however, doesn't end with Sri Ram. Police investigations have now expanded, and another familiar name has entered the picture, Kollywood actor Krishna. Reports suggest Krishna may have been present at the party and has since gone off the radar, allegedly while shooting in Kerala. His connections within the Tamil and Telugu film circuits are also being looked into, sparking speculation about how deep this might go.

Fans are left in shock, not only by the revelation but also by how different this story is from the quiet, reserved screen persona they believed they knew. Sri Ram is still in judicial custody until July 7 while the investigation continues. What began as a single arrest is now threatening to reveal a larger network involving powerful names.
