KJQ will be entertaining, deep and unique - Sampath Nandi

Deekshit Shetty, Sashi Odela and Yukti Thareja starrer KJQ - King Jackie Queen, is releasing on 7th August. Directed by late director KK, who passed away during filming, the movie is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. The team have completed the movie after his demise staying true to the director's vision.

The recently released trailer has garnered good anticipation and buzz. Makers have conducted a pre-release event with Mythri Ravi, Sampath Nandi and Srikanth Odela as special guests. Talking at the event, Srikanth Odela wished for the film to be a grand success and passion of director KK impressed him. Even though his brother is debuting as an actor, he wanted it to work for director.

Mythri Ravi stated that he never saw such a situation in his career. But he is immensely happy that a director's vision is being honoured even after his death. He asked media, audiences to also respect the passion of the late filmmaker and the entire team to make it a huge success. Deekshit Shetty remembered the time he spent with KK and stated that he is indebted to him for such a great character and trusting in him.

Sampath Nandi remembered KK as his friend for 20 years and how they have been poles apart in their beliefs about a film should be made. But he stated that they were the thickest of friends. He remembered how KK wanted KJQ to be a big hit and how even while being hospital, he used to talk only about the film. He stated that he saw few portions and called the film, unique, different and entertaining. He requested audiences to watch it in theatres as it offers one of best cinematic experiences.
