Picking Up Mother Roles? This Heroine Has Logic

Usually many young and happening heroines don’t love to pick up roles that require them to play a mother to a kid, but in present times, some beauties are just defying all that logic. They are giving enough reasons and saying ‘why not?’ as they choose to sizzle in mother roles, and spice up the screen with glamour at the same time.

The likes of Shraddha Srinath, Nivetha Thomas, Mrunal Thakur and Aishwarya Rajesh have already done that, and joining that gang is none other KGF fame beauty Srinidhi Shetty now. The 34-year-old Mangalore beauty is now playing the role of the mother of two kids in Adarsha Kutumbam opposite Venkatesh. She stated that if heroines are okay portraying the role of a 20, 40-, and 60-year-old woman in a biopic, why not the same in other movies. She says that onscreen age and character design are something challenging to play but are not associated with anything like image damage.

Well, back in the 90s, many star heroines like Soundarya and Simran have effectively portrayed both glamour roles and roles that need them to play a mother, even at the age of 25, quite effectively. Looks like that trend is back in business and happening beauties like Srinidhi Shetty are just taking it forward very fearlessly. At the end of the day, that’s also a character on the screen, but nothing else.
