Sriram’s Arrest Takes Shocking Turn in D*rug Case

Actor Sriram, also known as Srikanth, has been arrested by Chennai police in connection with a drug case that’s taken an unexpected turn. What began as an investigation into a bar fight in Nungambakkam has now led to deeper links involving drug supply, political names, and organized crime.

The case widened after AIADMK members Prasad and Ajay Vandaiyar, along with known offender Sunami Sethupathi, were arrested for their role in the bar brawl. Further complaints, including job fraud and drug use, pushed the police to investigate the source of the narcotics. During questioning, Prasad named Pradeep Kumar—already in custody in another cocaine case as the link to actor Sriram.

Sriram allegedly bought cocaine from Pradeep more than 40 times, paying Rs 12,000 per gram through online payments. After being called in for questioning at the Nungambakkam station, his blood samples tested positive, leading to his arrest. Police are now looking into his digital trail and transactions to understand the full extent of the network.

The arrest has caused a stir in the film industry, with speculation about who else might be involved. What started as a bar fight case has now opened a door into something much bigger. The investigation is still unfolding, and more names could come out in the days ahead.
