King Khan For Allu Arjun: What’s Really Cooking?

Superstar Allu Arjun’s Raaka is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films right now. After shaking the nation with his Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun has teamed up with proven commercial director Atlee, and recently they took tinsel town by storm with the first look of their movie. After the first look already did its job, here comes another rumour about the film that is pushing the curiosity to the next level.

Now, a new buzz is doing the rounds that none other than Bollywood’s King Khan, who has made a grand comeback with Atlee’s Jawan, is doing a cameo in Raaka. There’s no official confirmation yet, but the speculation isn’t random either. Atlee and SRK share a strong bond after Jawan, and if there’s one director who can pull off such casting surprises, it’s Atlee. So naturally, this talk is gaining traction. Though SRK recently refused to join the Jailer 2 cameo opposite Superstar Rajnikanth, it looks like he will do it for Atlee and Allu Arjun now.

On the casting front, Deepika Padukone is the only confirmed name as a heroine so far. Alongside her, names like Rashmika, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur are being heard, but the team is maintaining pin-drop silence. Whether they are playing full-fledged roles or extended cameos is still unclear.

Of course, Raaka looks like a film that wants to reveal things slowly. Most of the shoot is currently happening in Mumbai, and earlier it was shot in Los Angeles, too. And the scale is said to be massive. Backed by Sun Pictures, this is a pan-world attempt with strong Bollywood and Tollywood integration, with Allu Arjun leading the show.
