Rajamouli cancels Mahesh Babu schedule: What's Up?

Please already know that Mahesh Babu is currently working with iconic film maker Rajamouli for his upcoming project, which is tentatively titled SSMB 29. Well, this project is still in the early stages of the production, but it is already one of the most anticipated films in the making in Indian cinema.

The latest news on this film is that Rajamouli had to cancel the schedule for the film very recently in the last minute.

Going into the story, it is already known that Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu planned the upcoming schedule of the film in Kenya. The first plan was to shoot a heavy duty action sequence from the film in the dense forest region of Kenya and related arrangements were made.

It looked certain that Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli, along with the rest of the team would be travelling to Kenya in the second week of July to shoot this important action sequence.

However, due to the prevailing conditions in Kenya and the political tensions that are following, it is now being established that Rajamouli has cancelled the schedule at the very last minute.

Rajamouli does not want to take any chance with the security and well-being of the cast and crew. So he had to cancel the upcoming schedule in Kenya at the very last minute, while Mahesh Babu had been fully prepared for the same.

It is now being established that the upcoming schedule will be planned in an alternate manner, but what is for certain is that the Kenya schedule will not be happening at any cost.

This is a crucial change to the shooting patterns of this film at the last minute, and it could have consequences on the overall pacing of the project. It needs to be noted that Rajamouli had been rather leisure with the shooting phase as the unit had only shot a couple of schedules in the first six months of 2025.
