There is no debating the fact that Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are coming together for SSMB 29, which happens to be one of the most anticipated and also the costliest projects in the making in Indian Cinema. While the expectations are abnormally high on this film, already, we are now hearing three interesting updates on the same.
According to the latest developments, the shooting of this film will be kickstarting next week. The makers have already planned a schedule in Kenya, and this will feature the lead actors associated with the film, including Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and others.
Primary plan is to complete the shooting process at the earliest and then allocate enough time for the post production as this film will have expensive VFX works.
Another interesting report that is going around is that this film is reportedly being planned to be shot in three parts. Rajamouli had shot Baahubali two parts and this was phenomenal sensation back then, and it also started the sequel culture in Indian cinema. Now he is said to be on a mission to introduce the three part culture.
However, the most important thing here is that Mahesh Babu will have to allocate five years at the peak of his career if he wants to work on three parts under Rajamouli’s direction. This is a tough task and will take a lot of convincing. Either way, we have to wait and see how things turn out with regard to the three part plan.
Lastly, we have another interesting report regarding the characterisation of the lead actors. Apparently, Priyanka Chopra is playing a negative shared character in the film, and she will not be seen as the customer female lead like we usually do in other films.
