Release Day Target Set For SSR-Mahesh Project!

Superstar Mahesh Babu is already getting prepared to work with SS Rajamouli. The click of him sporting a beard already went viral and there is a lot of talk about the inclusion of new technicians in Rajamouli's team and the exclusion of a few. With Mahesh's 'Guntur Karam' out on Netflix, he is all set to jump onto the sets of Rajamouli's film and sources say that the team is going have a bunch of workshops and rehearsals for the next few months before going onto the floors.

There is a lot of talk going around that foreign actress Chelseaislan is going to be the female lead in this much-awaited project. Rajamouli's father Vijayendra Prasad will be the storywriter while his brother MM Keeravani will be giving the music. Instead of Senthil Kumar who is Rajamouli's trusted cinematographer, he went for PS Vinod for Mahesh's project. In place of Srinivas Mohan, RC Kamal Kannan is picked as the VFX supervisor. Sabu Cyril who worked on 'Baahubali' and 'RRR' is replaced by Mohan Bingi as the production designer.

In place of Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao or Sreekar Prasad, Rajamouli has decided to go ahead with Tammiraju as the editor. As we know, Rajamouli's wife Rama will be the costume designer and stylist. Interesting fact about the movie is that they have finalized on the movie's release date. Apparently, the target set by the makers for themselves is Ugadi of 2026. Knowing Rajamouli's speed and itch for perfection, there are high chances of the movie taking even more time but let us see if he releases this globetrotting adventure drama on time or not.
