'Stree 2' Surpasses 'Kalki' With Ease In Hindi Market!

Bollywood hasn't had a great year till date. None of their films managed to attain box office success. It 'Kalki 2898 AD' that turned out to be their biggest hit in terms of collections. The Hindi version of this movie earned a lifetime collection of 295 crores and many claimed that other Hindi movies might not be able to touch these numbers. Many big heroes failed to score hits which worried the Bollywood film circles.

'Kalki' was the only film that brought some happiness to buyers. But 'Stree 2' has now easily surpassed the collections of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. This film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao generated a lot of buzz prior to its release and got very positive talk on Day 1. People flooded to the theatres and it broke 'Kalki' Hindi collections in just 8 days.

The movie minted 289 crores in its first week and it touched the 300 crore mark on its 8th day. With Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Krishnashtami) arriving this weekend, 'Stree 2' is expected to benefit massively this weekend too. Pundits predict that it might mint 500-600 crores without a doubt. The movie was made with 50 crores and it is expected to be the most profitable venture in Bollywood in recent times.

The first part got over 180 crores at the end of its theatrical run and 'Stree 2' managed to get 300 crores in just 8 days which explains the craze over this film. The makers have created a special universe and we will get to see 'Stree 3' in the coming days as well.
