'Stree 2' Posing A Threat To 'Kalki 2898 AD' North Collections!

Bollywood hasn't had a great year till date. None of their films managed to attain box office success. It 'Kalki 2898 AD' that turned out to be their biggest hit in terms of collections. The Hindi version of this movie earned a lifetime collection of 295 crores and many claimed that other Hindi movies might not be able to touch these numbers.

But 'Stree 2' is posing a threat to 'Kalki 2898 AD' collections. This horror comedy arrived with a lot of craze and the positive talk helped in the audience arrive in huge numbers. In just 4 days, the movie managed to get 242 crores nett and it is going to touch the 300 crore mark with ease by the end of this weekend. The numbers are only going to get bigger with each passing day and it looks like this film getting a lot of love from the North audience.

Produced by Maddock Films, it is the fifth film from their supernatural universe. Niren Bhatt wrote the film while Dinesh VIjan and Jyoti Deshpande are the producers. Amar Kaushik is the director. Shraddha Kapoor's 'Stree' which came out in 2018 turned out to be highly successful. Six years later, the sequel for this film has also turned out to be a blockbuster.

Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi and others have also played main roles in this film. Let us wait and see how big 'Stree 2' becomes.
