Why Sukumar Silently Disappeared?

Generally, when a director delivers a historic blockbuster like Pushpa, he is expected to be the next big thing in the Indian film industry. But that is not even remote the case with Sukumar as he has silently disappeared, and there is no discussion happening on him.

Incidentally, Sukumar delivered one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Indian cinema in the form of Pushpa 2. Everyone expected him to get super busy with his future commitments after this Allu Arjun blockbuster, but that is not the case now as he has completed disappeared from the scene.

In fact, it has been over a year since the release of the second part of Pushpa, but there is still no discussion happening about the next collaboration of Sukumar.

While Allu Arjun is actually doing multiple projects and setting up more collaborations in the future, it is strange to see Director Sukumar completely go away from the scene. There is no debate or discussion happening about the next collaboration of Sukumar with any start Hero in Telugu cinema.

This is very strange as Sukumar is one of the elite film makers in Telugu cinema and he is expected to work with superstars back-to-back, especially after delivering a historic blockbuster like Pushpa.

But strangely enough, Sukumar appears to be away from the scene as he is evidently relaxing after the extremely challenging journey that he had to undergo for Pushpa. While some sort of refreshment for a brief period of time is understandable, the point to be noted here is that Sukumar has been away from the limelight for over 15 months.

For now, all we can do is patiently wait for Sukumar to announce his next collaboration and see when that would actually happen. There are unverified reports about the collaboration of Sukumar and Ram Charan for a potential project, but there is nothing official till now.
