We all the level of success 'Pushpa: The Rise' achieved. Directed by Sukumar, the movie earned more than 300 crores and created a sensation across the globe with its dialogues and songs. Mainly, the Hindi and overseas audiences have loved the film. Due to this, the expectations have skyrocketed on the sequel and the shooting is going on at a brisk pace.

The movie is in the last leg of its production and Sukumar is trying to present the second part in a grander way. Talk suggests that it will surpass the expectations on the audience when it hits the screens on 15th August. The shooting has been going on for two years and Sukumar is known for his perfection. He is famous for carving the film even a day before its release.

It happened for 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Sukumar focused on post-production while the others tried to promote the film. Sukumar spent days and nights in the editing room and gave the best possible output. He did not attend the pre-release event too and worked on the inclusions and cuts from the movie.

The success of 'Pushpa' made him forget all these hardships. Sukumar is working in the same manner once again for the second part. The team planned to wrap up the shooting by May and dedicate two months for promotions. However, sources from the industry claim that the shooting will go on till the end of July as Sukumar is not at all compromising on the output. He is making sure that he gets all the various in every scene.

Apparently, this is the reason for the slow progress of the production. People who worked with Sukumar are used to this and we can see him getting confined to the editing room till the movie releases. Apparently, he doesn't want the audience to point out any kind of flaw in the movie.
