Johnny Master's Wife Wins Election In Stunning Margin

Johnny Master, who recently created a buzz with choreographing the viral song Chikiri Chikiri from Global star Ram Charan’s upcoming sports drama Peddi, now has another reason to smile. His wife, Sumalatha, just won the Telugu Film Dancers Association elections in a big way.

She beat Joseph Prakash Master by 29 votes. Out of 510 votes, 439 were cast. What’s impressive is that Sumalatha ran solo, no backing from big groups or senior members. On the other hand, Joseph had support from famous dance masters like Shekhar Master, Bhanu Master, Raghu Master, and more. Even actress-dancer Srishti Varma camped out in the election hall all day, skipping meals, just to push her candidate.

Still, all that didn’t matter. Sumalatha’s strong support from peers and colleagues carried her through. She got 228 votes, Joseph 199, and Chandrasekhar 11. Her win is sparking chatter in the association, sometimes being independent and determined beats having a whole army behind you. Johnny Master had thought about standing up for himself but decided to back his wife instead. And that gave him a big success.
