SK's Super Subbu becomes Netflix first ever Telugu Original

Sundeep Kishan is one of the most talented stars of Telugu Cinema. He has a highly diverse filmography and he is now debuting into digital web-series space with Netflix show, Super Subbu. The fun show about sex education in rural milieu is created and directed by Mallik Ram.

Mithila Palkar, Murali Sharma, Maanasa Choudhary, and Brahmanandam are starring in this series that explores story of Subbu, an inexperienced sex education officer trying to survive the lively and unpredictable village of Maakipur.

Creator Mallik Ram shared that his primary goal with Super Subbu was to make conversations around sex education feel much less taboo by using humor to quickly break any discomfort. At the core of the story is the relatable and innocent Subbu, struggling to find his footing while dealing with family dynamics and generational gaps.

The show is set to open up rigid households to talk about sex education and importance of it in a fresh comic narrative. The series will stream on Netflix from 2nd July. This marks as the first ever original for Netflix in Telugu language and the premise looks promising.
