Young and talented hero Sundeep Kishan is all set to arrive on 16th February with 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona'. Written and directed by VI Anand, this movie is a fantasy thriller with a lot of twists and surprises. He is spearheading the promotions and he talked about his last outing 'Micheal' which ended up as a huge disappointment.

'Micheal' had a stellar cast and it was bilingual as well. The promotional content impressed the audience but the movie failed badly at the box office. Talking about the failure of his costliest project, Sundeep stated, “Yes, the movie didn't work well in theatres. Keeping the revenue aspect aside, I myself didn't like the final product. I told the same thing to the director, too. We had solid footage, and Michael could have turned out to be a fantastic film had some magic happened on the edit table. Something has gone wrong about it.”

He added, “Initially, I saw a few episodes and felt the movie would rock. However, when we see the film as a whole, not just these episodes but the entire story should connect to the audience. There could be an extraordinary scene, but the impact would be negligible if the preceding scene didn't work. Technically, Michael is an extraordinary film. We have put solid efforts to achieve technical finesse but didn't pay much attention to the story. We couldn't tell the story that we wanted to. It was tough for me as I knew the result in advance.”

He further said, “Michael was bankrolled by three producers. Two producers believed the film would be a blockbuster, but one producer told me that the movie didn't shape up well. He told me his opinion 12 days before the release. I didn't try to recheck as there wasn't much time left for release. I didn't want to handle that pressure. When I saw the movie before release day, I understood that movie wasn't good.”

Coming to 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona', Varsha Bollamma and Kavya Thapar are the female leads. Sekhar Chandra gave the music while Raj Thota is the cinematographer. The trailer generated a good buzz over the film.
