There is a growing demand for the Hindi film industry to learn from Telugu cinema when it comes to creating large canvas films, and riding on a proper vision.
The same was emphasised by Bollywood Star Sunny Deol, who is currently working with Telugu Director Gopichand Malineni for his upcoming project, which is titled Jaat. While the film is preparing for release on April 10, the makers have been aggressively promoting the same.
In this context, something interesting happened today as Bollywood star Sunny Deol asked Bollywood to take a lesson or two from Telugu film industry.
He said Bollywood has this culture where everyone has a say in the story and the shooting of the film, which eventually ends up messing up the whole product.
Sunny Deol spoke about the struggles of Bollywood, stating that the industry lacks passion and authenticity. He believes that filmmakers and actors are more focused on commercial success rather than storytelling and artistic expression. Deol emphasized that Bollywood needs to bring back originality and strong narratives to regain its former glory.
He also mentioned that excessive reliance on remakes and trends has weakened the industry’s creative spirit. He had a pretty strong opinion on the kind of bad examples that are being set by Hindi cinema in this context.
