Mahesh Says That He Gets A 'Sinking Feeling'!

Superstar Mahesh Babu is one of the most successful actors in the country but his journey had a lot of ups and downs. He has delivered his share of flops right through his career and during a recent interaction with the medial he talked about having a 'sinking feeling' when he faces flops.

Talking about handling expectations and acknowledging the efforts of people who worked on the film, he says, "When a film doesn't do well, you're left with a sinking feeling. There are a lot of expectations, and many people put in a great deal of effort into making a movie. However, I take full responsibility because I'm the face of it all. I believe that if I hadn't green-lighted the project, it wouldn't have happened. It's better that way, and it allows me to focus on my next film."

He recalled the advice given by his father superstar Krishna as he tells, "When you're a big actor, you need to accept that pressure. I learnt this, and more, from my father. He taught me the importance of discipline and humility. He instilled in us a strong value system, teaching us that success comes with its ups and downs. When you rise, there will inevitably come a moment when you fall, and you will have to carry that burden and ride the waves. It all comes down to how you handle the challenge."

Coming to his upcoming film 'Guntur Kaaram', it has Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhry playing the female leads. Thaman is the music composer while Chinababu and Naga Vamsi are the producers. Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas have joined hands once again after 13 years. Their combination has always given wonderful films like 'Athadu' and 'Khaleja'. There are high expectations on 'Guntur Karam' which will be released on 12th January 2024.
