Chiranjeevi’s Wife Surekha Gets Key Role in Yadagirigutta Temple Board

The decision was taken to improve the temple's administration and development. The government has created the new board on the lines of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) model.
One of the biggest highlights of the announcement is the appointment of Surekha Konidela, wife of megastar Chiranjeevi, as a member of the temple board. Her inclusion has attracted the attention of many people, especially fans of the Konidela family.
The newly formed board will have a total of 18 members. M. Satyanarayana Reddy has been appointed as the chairman. Along with him, several other members from different backgrounds have also been selected to serve on the board. The government believes that the new team will help in the smooth functioning and future growth of the temple.
Apart from the appointed members, the board will also include several ex-officio members. These include the Chief Secretary of the Telangana government, the Principal Secretary of the Revenue (Endowments) Department, the Endowments Commissioner, the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District Collector, the Vice Chairman of the Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority, the Executive Officer of the temple, and the senior chief priest.
The board members will serve for a period of two years. The government is expected to conduct the oath-taking ceremony for the new members soon. After taking charge, the board will look after important matters related to temple administration, pilgrim facilities, development works, and religious activities.
Yadagirigutta is one of the most respected Hindu pilgrimage centres in Telangana. Every year, lakhs of devotees visit the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. In recent years, the temple has seen major development works, making it one of the state's most important spiritual destinations.
