Recently, she attended a media interaction to promote her upcoming film. During the event, she was asked about the negative comments and trolling she receives on social media. Surekha gave a confident reply and said she no longer worries about such comments.

She said, "I already spoke about this earlier. In the beginning, I used to feel bad after reading such comments. But now I don't care anymore. I know who I am, and that's enough for me. I don't think about what others say. If I want to post something, I will post it. If I want to take any kind of photo, I will do it. It is my choice. If we keep thinking about what everyone says, life becomes difficult."

She was also asked about the rumours regarding her second marriage. Surekha made it clear that she has no plans to get married again.

She said, "I don't have that thought at all. If I really wanted to get married again, I wouldn't have waited for so many years. Right now, I have no such plans. I don't think I will have them in the future either. My daughter is now at the age where she should get married. Why would I think about my own marriage now? In fact, the media has already married me many times through rumours."
