Surender Reddy’s Story For Pawan - Snippets Inside

Director Surender Reddy has once delivered hit films like Kick, Racegurram, and Dhruva, but lost track recently with movies like Sye Raa and Agent. His sudden shift of genres hasn’t resulted in any big blockbuster at the box office, and that pushed him to stay jobless for a long time. Recently, he has locked a movie with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.

While Surender Reddy loves to do action movies, that really didn’t help him, and he’s said to have learnt his lesson. For Pawan Kalyan’s movie, rather than doing an #OG kind of action movie, the director is said to have carved out a Kick and Racegurram like comedy film only, says insiders. The comedy dose will be too high in each scene, bringing out the best of Pawan Kalyan’s hilarious comedy timing.

At the same time, Pawan Kalyan is said to have asked Surender Reddy not to carve any political messaging inside the movie, because he doesn’t want to mix politics and message-delivery acts with films now. Earlier, Pawan Kalyan’s films used to have some subtle messaging theme, but PK wants to avoid it, and Surender Reddy has carved the story as per those norms only.

Pawan-Surender Reddy film, bankrolled by Ram Talluri, is likely to be rolled-on-floors very soon after a muhurat event.
