#Suriya50: Big Plans, But That’s Worrying Fans

Currently, hero Suriya is enjoying back-to-back successes like Karuppu and Viswanath & Sons at the box office, though the latter hasn’t produced a big result like the first one. While his upcoming films, 48th and 49th, are being lined up, interesting talk is now coming up around his 50th film. And that is now worrying his fans.

Currently, Suriya’s next, his 48th, is being directed by TJ Gnanavel, who made the Jai Bhim film earlier. And then, already, the Jana Nayagan director H Vinoth locked a film with the star, which might be #Suriya49, and they are seeking Nagarjuna Akkineni for a special role. Then comes the mighty rumour that S Shankar might direct Suriya’s 50th film with a script provided by AR Murugadoss. As Murugadoss literally gave a career to Suriya with a film like Ghajini and later directed acclaimed movies like 7th Sense, surely this combination looks interesting and possible.

But the big thing that’s worrying fans is that whenever Suriya has gone big in recent times, by bringing movies like Kanguva and others, which are super high-budget, expectations at the box office are going for a toss. Fans are thinking that Suriya should stick to doing some conceptual, simple film as his 50th rather than a mighty budgeted one with Shankar.

With two films working out for him at the box office now, and putting him back on the hit track, surely Suriya might take any call about his 50th.
