Suriya and Jithu Madhavan film Suriya47 commences Shoot

Suriya has a huge market and following in Telugu States along with his superstar status in Tamil. Now, his highly anticipated Suriya47, directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan, Aavesham fame, was formally launched today in Chennai with a traditional pooja ceremony.

The event marks the start of a promising new cinematic venture, generating immense excitement among fans and cinephiles. The film stars Nazriya Nazim as the leading lady, making it a fresh and compelling pairing. Joining them is rising talent Naslen, who is set to play a significant role. The project is being backed by Zhagaram Studios.

The grand ceremony saw the attendance of the cast, crew, and notable industry well-wishers, including producer Jyotika, actor Karthi, and producers S.R. Prakash and S.R. Prabhu, all of whom offered their best wishes. Following the successful launch, the team immediately began filming, officially kicking off the first shooting schedule.

Expressing his enthusiasm, director Jithu Madhavan stated that the movie is fresh and unique from all previous films of Suriya. He further stated that the movie will be new for Indian Cinema and it will present a new cinematic experience to audiences.
