Suriya and Jyotika Renew Wedding Vows After 20 Years

Tamil cinema stars Suriya and Jyotika have celebrated an important milestone in their married life. The couple recently renewed their wedding vows, 20 years after their marriage. They shared a beautiful video from the special ceremony on social media, giving fans a glimpse of the intimate celebration.

The vow renewal ceremony was held at a church, reportedly at an overseas location. Their children, Diya and Dev, were present at the event along with family members and close friends. Suriya’s brother and actor Karthi was also seen attending the ceremony.

Jyotika looked elegant in a white gown for the occasion. Suriya chose a stylish white suit jacket with black trousers. The couple appeared happy as they celebrated two decades of their journey together.

Sharing the video, Jyotika spoke openly about their relationship. She said the celebration was not about showing a perfect marriage. Instead, it was about accepting imperfections, making adjustments, understanding each other, making sacrifices and continuing to love one another.

Jyotika also shared a heartfelt set of vows for the next phase of their life. She promised to remain positive, enjoy life, stay thankful and focus on her health. She also spoke about being a loving mother to their children.

One of the emotional parts of her message was about Suriya being more than just her husband. She described him as her friend, confidant and someone with whom she can share everything. She said their friendship is one of the most special parts of their relationship.

Suriya and Jyotika have known each other for many years. They first appeared together in the 1999 Tamil film Poovellam Kettuppar. They later worked together in films such as Uyirile Kalanthathu, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Maayavi and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal.

The couple got married in 2006. After marriage, Jyotika took a break from acting to focus on her family. She later returned to films in 2015 with 36 Vayadhinile.

Their vow renewal has now become a memorable moment for their fans, as Suriya and Jyotika celebrate 20 years of marriage and look forward to many more years together.
