Suriya Following Dulquer’s Success Trail?

Suriya and Dulquer Salmaan seem to have a special connection when it comes to successful directors. Interestingly, Suriya has already enjoyed a big success with director Venky Atluri after Dulquer Salmaan worked with the same filmmaker. Now, another similar connection is being discussed in the industry.

Dulquer Salmaan and Venky Atluri worked together on Lucky Baskhar, which became a successful film. After that, Venky Atluri directed Suriya in Vishwanath and Sons. The film received a positive response and became another commercial success for Suriya. This has made fans notice an interesting pattern between the two actors.

Now, Suriya is reportedly looking at another director who is currently working with Dulquer Salmaan. According to reports, director Nahas Hidhayath, who made RDX, has narrated a story to Suriya. The actor is said to be impressed with the script. However, he is reportedly waiting for the result of Nahas Hidhayath’s upcoming film I’m Game, which stars Dulquer Salmaan.

The reason is simple. Suriya wants to understand how Nahas handles a big-budget project. RDX already showed his ability to make an engaging commercial film. But I’m Game is expected to give a better idea about how he handles a bigger scale and a different kind of project.

If I’m Game becomes a successful film, there is a possibility that Suriya may give the final approval for this project. If that happens, Dulquer Salmaan could once again indirectly become part of an interesting director connection in Suriya’s career.

Suriya is currently enjoying a strong phase after the success of Karuppu and Vishwanath and Sons. He is also working on Suriya 47 with Jithu Madhavan and has already announced his reunion with TJ Gnanavel for Suriya 48.
