Suriya stepping into a straight Telugu film has got fans genuinely curious. After his recent appearance in Retro, the actor is now collaborating with Sir and Luck Baskhar director Venky Atluri for a new project that recently began shooting in Hyderabad. It’s said to be a family-based emotional drama, and though the title isn’t officially out, Viswanathan and Sons is the name doing the rounds online.

Nothing’s confirmed yet, but the title feels fitting if the film revolves around family or legacy themes. Mamitha Baiju joins Suriya as the female lead, and GV Prakash Kumar is handling the music. The film is being made on a big budget, with Suriya reportedly charging ₹50 crore. Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas are producing it. With that kind of backing, expectations are obviously high.
