Suriya begins work on bilingual film Suriya46 with director Venky Atluri

Tamil star Suriya has started his 46th film, a bilingual project called #Suriya46. The film was officially launched today with a pooja at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. The launch has created a lot of buzz for what many expect to be a big movie.

Venky Atluri, who directed hits like Sir and Lucky Baskhar, is directing this film. This is his first time working with Suriya, and people are curious to see what they create together.

The cast is strong. Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju, known for Premalu, is the female lead. Bollywood’s Raveena Tandon returns to Telugu films with this project, and Radhika Sarathkumar plays an important role.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music. He has worked with Venky Atluri before on successful films. The technical crew includes cinematographer Nimish Ravi, editor Navin Nooli, and production designer Banglan. Produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments, the film is expected to release in Summer 2026. Shooting will start around May 2025. Fans of Tamil and Telugu films are waiting eagerly for it.
