Sushant Singh Rajput Case Reopening: What’s Up?

On June 14,, 2020, all of India was shocked by the sudden suicidal death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was one of the most talented actors around at that point in time. He was just 34 during the time of the incident, and this led to serious questioning about the nature of the suicide.

However, the investigation drew to a close, not too long ago, and no arrest were made in a conclusive banner. Subsequently, the culprits in this case, we are not necessarily identified by the authorities.

But this is when another twist in the tale is happening as the Bombay High Court has decided to hear a PIL on the argument that the investigation must be opened in connection with the case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise.

It can also be noted that the new PIL that is being heard in connection with this case has fingers pointed towards Uddhav Thackeray, who was an MLA during that point in time.

Sushant’s father KK Singh has remarked that he is hopeful that the new government in Maharashtra will be more productive when it comes to investigating the details of the case. He further added that he is confident that certain culprits will be arrested and legal consequences now.

The details of the case will now be reopened by the Bombay High Court and another round of investigation, this time with a pointed suspect could be happening very soon. It has to be seen if this investigation will actually result in arrest of any of the suspects and lead to subsequent police action.
