Taapsee Wants Flawed & Complicated Women

After taking an exit route from Tollywood, Delhi beauty Taapsee Pannu has entered Bollywood with high hopes. Though she couldn’t make it super big there, definitely she has done some good cinema there. While she’s not super active these days in terms of pouring glamour on the gram, she occasionally shares good gyan through interviews.

In a recent talk at the 14th edition of Jagran Film Festival, Taapsee stated that she wants to see more women’s roles, which are flawed and complicated, rather than pure and neat women that were written. She stated that female characters should also have grey shades, make mistakes and follow their ambitions.

Though Taapsee is doing similar roles in recent times, in movies like Haseena Dilruba, it looks like her hunger to act in more such roles hasn’t come down. Currently, the actress is shooting for a couple of Netflix movies, while she chooses to keep her personal life strictly private. The actress is said to be living in Denmark, along with her rumoured husband, Danish badminton player Mathias Boe.
