Tamil-Telugu crossover: Only South Indian cinema things?

For many years now there has been a healthy relationship between the Tamil and Telugu film industries and we have historically seen technicians and actors from both industries indulge in other languages as well. This trend is becoming particularly prevalent now, as we are seeing more of a crossover between Telugu and Tamil Cinema.

For instance, we are witnessing the coming together of multiple crossover projects now and here is a look into the story.

For beginners, it is officially confirmed that Allu Arjun is going to work with Atlee for his upcoming film. This project is going to be shot on a very huge scale and the same as implied through the teaser earlier.

Then we have discussed the film that marks the collaboration between NTR and Nelson. NTR himself revealed that this project could be officially announced by Naga Vamsi soon.

Then we have the favourite Tamil director for the Telugu heroes, and he is none other than Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is already working with Nagarjuna on his ongoing MultiStarrer Coolie. There are also reports about potentially working with Prabha or Ram Charan for one of his upcoming projects.

Coming to the Telugu Director and Tamil Hero crossover, there is substantial progress here as well.

Fundamentally speaking, it needs to be understood that Venky Atluri is going to work with Suriya soon. This project is going to be produced by Naga Vamsi again, and this is going to be an interesting coming together.

As for Kamal Haasan, who is one of the proudest and most legendary exponents of South Indian cinema, he had already worked with Naga Ashwin for Kalki and they are coming together again for the second part now.

Lastly, we have Kubera, which marks the coming together of Sekhar Kammula and Tamil star Dhanush. This film is also set for release soon, and it is another interesting Tamil and Telugu crossover film.
