Interesting Sequel: But Hero Not In Right Zone?

Pelli Choopulu is still regarded as one of the finance films ever to be made in Tollywood when it comes to the segment of small budget film making. This film is still cited as a classic example of the makeshift paradigm that has been happening in Tollywood in recent years.

Meanwhile, there is an interesting discussion happening about the sequel for this superhit youthful film that released back in 2015. Apparently, the director of the film Tarun Bhaskar is contemplating the idea of making this sequel for this commercial and critically successful comedy entertainer.

However, the issue here is that the main hero of the film Vijay Devarakonda is in a completely different zone now and his market is multiple times bigger when compared to the time he did Pelli Choopulu.

Considering the exponential growth registered by Vijay, in recent times, it would be a tough task to bring him on board for the sequel for this simple and subtle film. It would be a bit too much to ask him to do a small scale film like this, despite the fact that it is a sequel.

In that case, director, Tarun can simply opt to go with some other Hero, preferably a debut gangster for this sequel, which would also add freshness to the narrative.

On the other hand, Tarun is also developing the sequel for Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. This film can very well be planned with the original cast, including Vishwak Sen. This film can truly have great prospective the box office, considering the kind of belated success that was enjoyed by the first part.
