Box Office: Blockbuster Start For Mirai!

Talented young Telugu hero Teja Sajja is consistently making good films and building a strong market for himself with larger than life subjects. He is back at it with his latest film Morai which has again opened on a superb note at the box office.

The much-awaited film Mirai opened to a strong response at the box office, making a solid mark on its very first day. The movie registered an impressive worldwide gross of over ₹27 crore, signaling a positive start for its theatrical run.

Audience turnout was equally reflected on ticketing platforms, where Mirai dominated Day 1 sales. On BookMyShow alone, the film managed to sell a massive 375,000 tickets, clearly showing its popularity among viewers.

Interestingly, Mirai managed to edge past Hanuman, which recorded 339,000 tickets sold on the same platform. Both films enjoyed strong buzz, but Mirai’s lead in numbers highlights its wider reach and hype on opening day.

With such momentum, trade circles are predicting a strong weekend ahead, especially if word-of-mouth continues to remain favorable. The first day performance has already set the tone for Mirai to become one of the big box office players this season.

Mirai is now projected to touch the Rs 100 crore club in the due course and will stand as one of the better films in recent times with good theatrical returns.
