Tollywood Votes For Parallel World Trend

With many big-budget Telugu movies, this trend is picking up for sure. Here’s a quick look into the same.
If we look at the most delayed film, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, the film has part of the story happening on Earth, and another part happening on another planet called Vishwambhara . This was earlier dealt with well by Kalki 2898 AD, where they showed a world that happens during the Mahabharata era, and another one that takes place towards the end of time on this world. That’s how the “Parallel Worlds” idea started to seep into Tollywood.
Now the likes of Varanasi and Raaka are also following the same concept. Rajamouli has already confirmed that multiple worlds will be touched upon in the movie. Though Raaka hasn’t given any clues about the storyline, it’s also coming out that this film will have a parallel world concept. With all these filmmakers touching upon parallel worlds, we have to see how the trend will be adored by Telugu audience and the pan-India audience as well.
With Tollywood voting for parallel worlds trends, surely it’s going to give a new cinematic experience for the audience big time. However, budgets are skyrocketing with this, and that has to be planned well.
