September BO: All Eyes on 3 Films

August was a very disappointing month for Telugu cinema as the 2 much anticipated films, Coolie and War 2 couldn’t match the expectations. So the hope is that September would deliver what is expected from it this month.

We have two major films, arriving at the box office and one delayed product in the form of Ghaati. The two anticipated films are obviously Pawan Kalyan’s OG and Mirai.

While Ghaati featuring Anushka is preparing for its release on September 5. The other two films are preparing for release on September 12(Mirai) and 25(OG) respectively.

The expectation is that these two films would be offering the right kind of content that is expected by the Telugu audience and can create significant impact at the box office, which is the need of the hour.

The good thing here is that all of these films have been showing great promise when it comes to creative content as they belong to completely different genres. What is for certain is that the Telugu audience will be served a diverse of content this time around.

It can be expected that OG will be the biggest grossing regional film of the year and the other two will largely depend on the kind of content that is an offer. Teja Sajja is also promising big content with Miral so that’s something to look out for.
