Buzz: Film Scores Goal, Director In Pavilion

There are many a times where some directors come just like that, deliver a stupendous blockbuster and then take years to come up with their next. Now, some of the directors are not even coming into the public light after scoring a blockbuster. In recent times, this is happening too often, and that’s what puzzles the audience too.

Despite all the criticism and controversy that engulfed “Peddi”, director Buchi Babu Sana must be happy because he has already scored a ₹400 crore blockbuster with the movie from the Telugu box office alone. At the same time, the film got sold out to OTT and other rights also made lavish profits. However, after the release, Buchi Babu has not even been heard anywhere. Okay, let’s say he’s worried about the controversy.

Take the case of “Lenin” director Murali Kishore Abburu for example. He has scored ₹60 crores at the box office, and that’s considerably good, but then the film hasn’t made 100s of crores like the director anticipated. For reasons unknown, he’s also could not be seen on the ground, but it looks like taking rest in the pavilion after the film scored a goal.

The list is huge, as directors like Ram Jagdish of Court fame are also not coming out, even after scoring the blockbuster goal. Well, that’s a strategy, maybe!
