Tollywood Exhibition Crisis: Heroes Must React Now!

The Telugu film industry is currently undergoing a significant issue with regard to exhibition and distribution. On one hand, exhibitors are calling for percentage basis when it comes to releasing films while the distributors and producers have a different aspect.

This was followed by an interesting comment from the exhibition sector today. It has been confirmed that they Exhibitors in Telangana will not be hiking the ticket prices, regardless of the Government order.

On the other hand, exhibitors have been arguing that percentage basis will work for them only in the case of big Hero films, but not for smaller films. There is this growing conflict between these two major sectors of the film industry, which is not likely to be settled very soon.

But the meanwhile, the discussion has started about the importance of heroes in the entire discussion as they are the ones who can be the deciding factors here.

The entire business model could be largely restructured if heroes bring down their remuneration demands, which is pretty much the need of the hour now. This would directly help the producers, which would, in fact, go onto to help the exhibitors and distributor as well.

Also, if star heroes decide to help out the film industry by consistently doing quality films in a quick basis, then it would be all the more beneficial for the entire industry.

If we have big hero films arriving consistently on a yearly basis, then it would be a big deal for everyone involved. We have to see if the Telugu heroes would be actually particular about the same.
