It is already known that the Telugu film industry had been struggling with halt in film shooting over the last three weeks due to the strike that was called by Telugu cinema workers Association. After several rounds of discussions and contemplation, the strike has been finally called off today.

On August 21 night, it has been officially communicated that the Telugu cinema workers Association has called off the strike. This will mark the end of the strike that went on for 18 days, and this will come to effect immediately.

This is made possible almost entirely due to the involvement of the Telangana, government and chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Subsequently, it has been announced that this strike has been called off and the film shooting civil resume from tomorrow itself, August 22. Finally, after a break of nearly 3 weeks, the Telugu film shooting will be back on track, and this is what was needed to be heard.

On this matter, Megastar Chiranjeevi, who had a crucial role to play in this matter, tweeted “I wholeheartedly express my gratitude to the Honorable Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri Revanth Reddy, for resolving a highly complex industry issue in a very harmonious manner, ensuring justice for both producers and workers.

The measures taken by the Chief Minister for the development of the Telugu film industry are commendable. His vision to transform Hyderabad into not just a national but a global hub for the film industry, along with the efforts he is making toward this goal, are truly praiseworthy.

I sincerely hope that the Telugu film industry continues to move forward unitedly in this manner, and that the government provides support in every possible way.”
