Movie ticket prices have become an important topic in the Telugu film industry. Recently Vijay Deverakonda spoke about ticket prices and said that there would be no ticket price hike for his films. While this statement may sound positive to audiences, it also raises an important question. Can heroes really control ticket prices and is a ticket price hike the main problem in the film industrym

Ticket prices and producers' financial problems are two different issues. Producers often say that they need higher ticket prices to recover their investments. Big budget films involve huge expenses. But the biggest expense in many star films is the hero's remuneration. Popular heroes charge very high amounts for their films. So this will for sure put a lot of pressure on producers before the film even reaches theatres.

If producers want to reduce their financial risks then they should first look at the production costs. When a hero takes a very high remuneration, the producer needs the film to earn huge collections to recover the investment. In such situations, increasing ticket prices may look like an easy solution. But higher ticket prices can also affect the audience's interest in watching a film in theatres.

The main question is why producers should depend on ticket price hikes when they can control their expenses. If star heroes really want to support producers and audiences the. they can consider reducing their remuneration or sharing some of the financial risks. This may help producers make films with more reasonable budgets.

At the same time, ticket prices are not decided by heroes alone. Producers, distributors, theatre owners and government rules can all play a role in ticket pricing. Therefore, a hero saying that ticket prices will not increase does not mean that he can control the entire system.

Talking about affordable ticket prices is a good thing. Audiences always welcome lower prices because they can watch films without spending too much money. But such statements will have more value when heroes also address the rising cost of making films.

So only if heroes reduce their remuneration then only it's possible to cut the budget and that will have an effect on ticket prices. So heroes without reducing remuneration talking about ticket prices can make no sense and it can affect producers also.
