Tollywood Bandh: Shootings coming to standstill?

The Telugu film Federation has announced the big decision of calling off film shooting from today. This comes shortly after the recent bandh that was called by the cinema workers and the Federation has also decided accordingly now.

The primary argument from the cinema workers is that they need better, wages, and financial stability, which became a topic of concern for everyone involved.

After a few rounds of discussion, the producers council had come up with a detailed solution with a gradual progression in better wages. But the workers union did not approve the same, and this created more panic and uncertainty amongst the film shooting community.

Subsequently, the latest developments are suggesting that the film Federation also, the workers union has collectively decided to call off the film shootings until a final decision is made.

This is a pretty significant decision taken by the concerned authorities and we have to see what kind of repercussions it would have on the film fraternity.

This is one of the first times that the entire industry is coming to a complete standstill position in recent years. It remains to be seen if the concerned authorities can be able to resolve the solution for this matter, rather quickly in order to make sure that things are back on track.
