Longest Title in Tollywood: Chandra Siddarth’s Thriller Arrives September 18

Telugu cinema is preparing for an unusual release this month as director Chandra Siddarth unveils his latest project. The film, titled ‘Ee Paata Korinavaru Nemalipalem Nundi Rama, Jyotsna, Nandu, Murali, Kabir, Dhol Ravi Modalaguvaaru’, has already drawn attention for setting a record as the longest title in Telugu film history. With the tagline “A Forbidden Raag From A Forbidden Saga”, the movie is confirmed to arrive in theatres on September 18.

Produced under the Filmotsav banner and presented by Y.V. Satyanarayana Raju, the film is based on a story by late filmmaker‑writer Madan, whose earlier collaboration with Chandra Siddarth gave audiences the acclaimed Aa Naluguru. This marks Madan’s final planned project, now realized by Chandra Siddarth in a daring new format.

The cast features debutant Harsha in the lead role, supported by Ammayra Goswami, Sujana Reddy, Inaya Sultana, Ravi Varma, Anirudh Srivastava, Ashok Vardhan and Rekha Nirosha. Unlike Chandra Siddarth’s earlier relationship‑driven dramas, this film ventures into a psychological thriller told through a mystery musical. The narrative weaves together sound therapy, neuroscience, brain mapping, memories, guilt and love, with music serving as the central force of the story.

At the heart of the plot lies a haunting motif: every night at 10:30 PM, a song is broadcast on a radio station, requested by Rama, Jyotsna, Nandu, Murali, Kabir, Dhol Ravi and others from Nemalipalem. This recurring ritual forms the spine of the mystery.

The soundtrack includes four songs composed by J Rex, with lyrics written by Chandra Siddarth himself and dialogues penned by Pulagam Chinnarayana. Chandra Siddarth has described the film as an experimental attempt to deliver audiences a fresh cinematic experience while honoring Madan’s vision and wish.
