The Telugu box office has witnessed multiple new films that arrived at the ticket counters this weekend, and let us have a look at the kind of performance that they are able to put up in front of the audience.

Maa Inti Bangaram has Samantha in the lead role, and it is the obvious choice for the family audience this weekend. This film has been able to pull the audience in reasonable numbers thanks to the Samantha factor.

Deewana has youngster Harshit Reddy and others in the lead roles, and it is turning out to be a youthful love drama with a hint of comedy element. Younger generation of the audience can give it a try this weekend.

Balan- The boy is a dubbed film, and it is a critically acclaimed social drama that has a strong plot that resonate with the current society. It might not be a film that will primarily appeal to the larger section of the audience, but it has won the applause of the critics.

Cocktail 2 is the reimagined version of the original film that was a blockbuster back in the day. But this film has not been able to pull the audience to theatre in big numbers, and a lot will depend on the kind of performance it can generate over the weekend.

In the OTT, space we have the third season of Save The Tigers and this is coming fresh from the success of the first two parts which could generate a reasonably good word of mouth. It can make for a happy family watching in the OTT space which will help its cause on Disney + Hotstar.

Transfer Trimurtulu is the comeback film for Vadde Naveen. This film has an interesting premise and a reasonably good core point, but the execution is outdated and the narration is not up to the mark which makes it a mediocre film.

Subsequently, we have multiple notable films at the ticket counter this weekend, and it appears that Samantha will be running with the bigger section of the pie for now. A lot will depend on the kind of performance that this other bunch of films can put up over the weekend.
