Fahad's Money Issue & Tovino's Time Issue: What Next?

In recent times, it has come out that Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, who has acted in the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekawat in the movie “Pushpa” is being offered many Telugu movies. However, the actor demanded more than ₹15 crores to star in those roles for obvious reasons. Now comes Tovino Thomas, who was actually part of Jr NTR’s “Dragon”, has claimed that he doesn’t want to do Telugu films because it will take a year, during which he could easily wrap 3-4 Malayalam films. Well, but here is the point one should understand.

Malayalam actors are getting superb attention in Telugu, and our makers are running after them. Like how Malayalam films are working in Tollywood, even Telugu films are also working in Kerala, if not all, a few. But then, Malayalam makers are not coming to Hyderabad to cast Telugu heroes in special roles or in lead roles. Now that our producers are running after them, slowly, these actors from other industries are teaching a lesson to our producers.

Sample this: Fahad is demanding 15 crores. Tovino is now saying he can’t give 1 year to a Telugu film. Well, first of all, our producers should stop approaching them in the first place, is what many Telugu audiences are saying right now. Dulquer Salman’s Kantha didn’t click due to content, but Sita Ramam worked due to content. So, focus on content and bring good Telugu actors to the top, rather than running after other state actors, is what many say.
