What’s Happening In People Media Factory?
Prabhas’ The Raja Saab didn’t just underperform, but it reportedly caused massive losses, running into hundreds of crores.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 21 April 2026 1:42 PM ISTNRI software company owner, TG Vishwa Prasad, came back from the US and built People Media Factory into a busy production house in a short time. He aimed at creating New talent, multiple films, strong output through a ‘factory’ model of filmmaking. While the film Mirai worked big last year, even bringing a name for his in-house VFX team, no other films worked in their favour. Especially the flop show of “The Raja Saab” pushed the producer into massive debts, as per industry rumours.
Prabhas’ The Raja Saab didn’t just underperform, but it reportedly caused massive losses, running into hundreds of crores. For a production house that was expanding aggressively, this was a hard hit. There were even talks that Prabhas would support and collaborate again, but that will take time to materialise. But here’s the catch. People Media Factory isn’t slowing down, but actually restructuring the way the production house functions. Vishwa Prasad is now focused on clearing debts and tightening control, as per reports. His production lineup is still active, but the approach will be more cautious this time.
In fact, two films with Teja Sajja are in pre-production. Adivi Sesh’s Goodachari 2 is progressing as a co-production. Their Hindi co-production Jaat 2 is getting ready to go on floors next year. A few big-budget scripts are in development, waiting for the right heroes to come aboard. To strengthen their backend, the company tied up with Mythri Movie Makers as a distribution partner in Nizam. On top of everything, Vishwa Prasad is teaming up with Pawan Kalyan’s banner too. Looks like the company will rise like a phoenix again.
