Why Thabita Presents Despite Having 'Sukumar Writings' Already?

A wholesome entertaining drama titled 'Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam' starring Rao Ramesh in the lead role has arrived in theatres. Lakshman Karya is the director and the movie already had premiere shows arranged for media and film fraternity. With a top actor like Rao Ramesh being the face of this project, the movie gained a decent buzz.

The trailer impressed a lot of people too and it offered something fresh and funny for the audience. Icon Star Allu Arjun and Sukumar arriving as the chief guests for the pre-release event increased the hype by a big margin. With Bunny himself promoting the film, his fans showed interest in watching this film. The main reason for Bunny's arrival is Sukumar's wife Thabita presenting this film.

As Sukumar's wife, she always used to be behind the creative director and provided support but she came into the limelight for the first time. She became the presenter of 'Maruthi Nagar Subramanyan' and she took care of all the movie promotions. She took part in media interviews as well. Usually, Sukumar directly gets involved in projects if he likes the script or output.

But people were curious to know why Thabita Sukumar came ahead but not Sukumar himself. As a part of the promotions, Thabita gave an interview to Buchi Babu Sana and she gave a clarity about it. The 'Uppena' director asked the reason for her presenting the film while there was already 'Sukumar Writings' banner. She said that she is a part of Sukumar Writings and wanted to present it under that banner.

But when she talked about 'Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam' to Sukumar, the director reportedly replied that he is in no mood to watch any other film till he completes 'Pushpa 2'. Unable to convince him, she decided to present it on her own which is how she became the presenter.
