Star hero Dhanush is a man of many talents. He is a National Award winning actor, a singer, a lyricist, a writer, a producer and a director. He produced award-winning films and wrote lyrics to many of his super hit songs along with giving his vocals. He made his debut as a director with 'Pa Paandi' in 2017 and he has held the megaphone once again for his upcoming film 'Raayan'.

It is going to be his landmark 50th film as an actor and Sun Pictures is producing this movie. It is going to be released in multiple languages and Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP will release the Telugu version. The team began the promotions by releasing the first lyrical song titled 'Thala Vanchi Eragade'. It is an epic celebration song composed by the legendary music director AR Rahman. It is not a fast-beat song but has grandeur written all over it.

Dhanush is seen enacting mass dances alongside many villagers at a carnival. Prabhu Deva has done some wonderful choreography for the song crooned powerfully by Hemachandra and Sarath Santosh with lyrics by Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose. The original Tamil lyrics were penned by Dhanush himself while he along with AR Rahman gave their vocals. This song will appeal to all sections, particularly the masses will love it to the core. Dhanush sports short hair with a handlebar mustache in the movie.

Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram are playing the other lead roles in this much-awaited movie. SJ Surya, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, and Dhushara Vijayan play the other important characters in this movie. Jacki is the production designer and Peter Hein is the action choreographer. AR Rehman provides the music, while the camera is handled by Om Prakash. Prasanna GK takes care of editing. The makers have decided that 'Raayan' will be hitting the screens worldwide on 13th January.
