Star music director, Thaman expressed his deepest disappointment with the ongoing negative trend on social media, where certain people are trying to kill theatrical run of a film out of sheer hate and nativity.

Though Thaman did not name any film in this public statement. It was easy to connect the dots as he appeared to be hinting about Game Changer. The fact that the film faced extreme negativity and hate on social media, which ultimately killed its box office run clearly instates the same.

Interestingly, megastar Chiranjeevi has added to the statement made by Thaman as he issued a social media statement in this.

With his latest tweet, Chiranjeevi said he is pleasantly surprised to see usually, fun filled Thaman becoming so emotional about social media negativity. He appeared to be moved by Thaman’s latest statement on the cancel culture, which is aimed at killing the film at the theatres.

The indirect indication from Thaman was that Game Changer faced intense social media negativity, and that could be the reason why Chiranjeevi took to social media to react to the same.

“Be it films or Cricket people must note that their endless commentary on social media will ultimately have an impact on the receiver. We all are equally acceptable to intense pain when we are subject to social media hate. Words can inspire. And Words can destroy. Choose what you wish to do.” Chiranjeevi wrote on the occasion.

This could very well trigger a social media narrative to put an end to this endless Hi campaign on social media, which is starting to affect the film industry in so many ways.
